FORGE

Community rules

Short, and all of them exist because the alternative makes the feedback worthless.

Info sections

Conduct

Test properly or do not claim it
Ten honest minutes and a specific note beats a paragraph of praise. Feedback written without using the thing is worth nothing and is scored that way.
Nothing broken gets published
Bugs that could hurt real users go to the owner privately and stay unpublished until they are fixed. Finding one is credit, not ammunition.
No buying position
Nothing here is sold, promoted, or moved up a queue for money. Praise cannot be traded for points either, which is why scoring is confirmed by the team.
Criticise the work, not the person
Everyone here is building their first serious things. Say what broke and what you expected instead.

How rounds are run

Feedback is private
Only the project owner reads it. Thirty independent opinions beat one opinion repeated thirty times.
Speed pays
Full marks in the first 24 hours, sliding down after. A week later the quality mark closes. Feedback that arrives too late to matter earns least.
The contest needs nothing
One of the seven weekly slots is a contest pick with no rank requirement at all. Submissions are private: only staff see who entered.

Enforcement

Community Helpers answer members, keep the server safe, and issue warnings and mutes. Every warning is archived, so a pattern is visible rather than argued about.
